2009 CADILLAC CTS Recall

GM has announced that they will be recalling a sure thing models of the 2009 Cadillac CTS vehicles for failing to conform to the requirements of federal motor carrier safety standard NO 208, ‘Occupant crash charge’.  Under certain conditions, a software condition within the voyager sensing system may disable the front passenger air bag when it should be enabled or enable it when it should be harmed.

In a vehicle crash, if the front passenger air bag does not operate as designed, increased critical injury could occur.  Dealers will reprogram the voyager sensing system module free of charge.  The revocation will begin on November 18,2008.  Owners may contact Cadillac at 1-866-982-2339 or by visiting their website at www.gmownercenter.com.

Hey, Steve-o, I drooled, too. Kidding aside, I do intend you don’t have to think hard about the Cadillac CTS. I’ve seen some on the road and saw one in display. You’ll be sold as in the end as you step inside your Houston, Texas Cadillac dealer. I will show you some points that will as though you feel that you made a great choice.

First, let’s get started with the style of the CTS. Cadillac, in my low opinion, still rules in the style and appeal section. The CTS is a union of style and rugged looks that makes it a true relaxation sedan. Then if we look under the hood, and go through the different trims present, you’ll expand your choices. Your options for an engine can either be a 3.6 Liter V6 VVT or a 3.6 Liter DI. Comparing horsepower between these two, the 304 hp at 6400 rpm from the Undeviating Injection engine rules it over its variable valve timing (VVT) buddy by 40 hp. There’s also more torque for the DI variant. Standard transmission for these cars is guide but there’s an option to go automatic. I love how the 2008 CTS handles; curves are not an conclusion with the car. As far as interiors and creature comforts are concerned, I’d say that it’s pretty much guide in what you’ll find in cars today. You will get navigation, a decent stereo system, power seats, valid to cite a few. Anyway, Steve, I do hope you finalize your plans to get a CTS. You won’t deprecate it.

another CTS added to the family

as most of you recognize, i ordered my 08 CTS4 last year and received it 5 days before christmas (to the fullest extent christmas present to myself ever!! ha).. today my dad decided to get rid of his 06 STS and he ended up purchasing an 09 CTS4.. it's an stimulating night, we now have a black 08 CTS and a gold mist 09 CTS.. he's got a few more gadgets in his, which i'm a bit resentful about.. at least i got mine first tho! ;)
